FINISHES SECOND IN PANHANDLE CONFERENCE

MARIANNA—The Chipola baseball team (16-6, 29-15) hosts Gulf Coast, Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m., in the final conference game of the season.
Chipola also hosts Coastal Alabama, Monday, April 29, at 4 p.m., St. Johns River, Friday, May 3, at 6 p.m. and LSU-Eunice, Saturday, May 4, at 1 and 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 5, at 11 a.m.
Chipola finished second in the Panhandle Conference race at 16-6 behind Northwest at 19-5. Tallahassee is 9-13, Gulf Coast is 8-14 and Pensacola is 4-18.
The Indians play the Southern Conference Champion, Friday, May 10, at 6 p.m. CST at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland. A win would move the Indians to the 6 p.m. game on May 11.
