The deputy turned around on the vehicle to initiate a traffic stop and observed the vehicle accelerate in an attempt to elude him. The deputy pursued the vehicle toward Hwy 231 and upon approaching the intersection of Hwy 73N and Hwy 231; the suspect vehicle slowed and went around a stopped vehicle.
