Vernon, Florida Mayor Laura Olene Brewer recently announced the details for the annual Vernon ‘Miss Firecracker’ Pageant, with all proceeds going to furnish the July 4 fireworks show held at the Vernon Sportsplex.
The 2019 pageant event will feature ten categories and the region typically turns out the finest young ladies for the competition, which is fierce, as seen in these photos from the 2008 event, by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
The 2019 Miss Firecracker Pageant will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 4PM and registration forms may be found at City Hall at 850-535-2444 or by calling Laura Brewer at 850-326-8738. Pageant attire is Patriotic and all details are available at City Hall.
