By | May 16, 2019

Five years ago, in 2014, the Washington County, Florida Courthouse was condemned due to mold, lead, asbestos and a handful of additional health hazards that rendered the building unfit for human occupation.

Here is Part 4 of a retrospective photo and video gallery commissioned by Florida’s 14th Judicial,Circuit and the Washington County Board of Commissioners, highlighting and documenting the process of inspection, condemnation, demolition and rebuilding of a new state-funded County Courthouse in Washington County, as seen by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

These photos focus on the public auction at the Washington County Ag Center of the surplus and historical items remaining in the Courthouse following the condemnation of the original building.
