Washington County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ted Everett proudly displays the ‘2019 Rural Deal of the Year’ award recently received from the Florida Economic Development Council.
Everett said the award reflected the mulitple years of hard work that Washington County, Holmes County and the City of Bonifay have put in on the Hwy 79 Authority.
Officials with both counties have said that a great deal of hard work has gone into putting the project together and more will be needed to bring the effort to fruition.
