Vernon, Florida Mayor Laura Olene Brewer copyrighted the name ‘Firecracker Pageant’ a number of years ago, and has successfully executed the annual Miss Firecracker Pageant every year in Vernon, with all proceeds going to fund the July 4 fireworks show held at the Vernon SportsPlex.
The 2019 event was held on Saturday, June 15, at 4PM, and featured ten categories and some of the finest young ladies in the region for this competition, as seen in Part 1 of these photos from the event by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
