Meeting in a Workshop Session Monday evening, members of the Washington County School Board decided to hold a ‘Shade Meeting’ later in June to discuss the possibility of moving the WISE program to the campus of the Florida Panhandle Technical College.
Initial opposition came from staffers at the Technical College, who voiced security concerns as one of the possible problems that could arise from such a move.
Washington County School Superintendent Joe Taylor said the agenda for the ‘Shade’ meeting would give all concerns an opportunity to be aired before a final decision would be made.
