In their regularly scheduled meeting July 9th the Chipley City Council was happy to accept the City’s 2017-2018 annual audit prepared by Carr, Riggs & Ingram, Inc.
Council members also heard from Ms. Collins with Project H.O.P.E. that is now working with those seeking recovery help in Washington County following Hurricane Michael.
The Project H.O.P.E. representative pointed out that just like the hurricane, recovery follows its own path and added, “We’re here to help!”.
Project H.O.P.E. engages survivors of Hurricane Michael to listen to their stories and help them identify their inner strengths and resiliency, lean on their existing support network, and navigate community resources to support their recovery.
They also provide free, confidential services anywhere, including homes, businesses, schools, colleges, houses of worship, shelters, and community centers for anyone affected by Hurricane Michael.
