The Washington County Tourist Development Council (TDC) is looking at ways to attract more “snow birds” to Washington County.
TDC Director Heather Lopez talked with council members about the issue at their July 11th workshop/meeting.
Council members noted there has been a decreased in “snow bird” visitors due to many of the being on fixed incomes. They said those looking for getaway trips are doing their homework before selecting where they will visit.
The interactive map now on the TDC website also drew discussion from council members who noted it is a wonderful opportunity to get the message of what Washington County has to offer to both residents and potential visitors.
