Only minor injuries in I-10 accident ……………..

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports only minor injuries in a Thursday afternoon two vehicle accident on I-10 in Jackson County.

According to the FHP report, 19-year-old Cory Schreiner, of Ft. Walton Beach, was drving a 2005 Ford F-150 eastbound in the inside lane of I-10 around the 144 mile marker, while 49-year-old Doughlas Biala, of Selma, Texas was driving westbound in the outside lane of I-10.

The FHP reports that Schreiner lost control of the Ford and the vehicle left the roadway on the north shoulder, crossing the median and entering the westbound lanes of I-10.  

The front of the 2015 Nissan SUV being driven by Biala collided with the left side of Schreiner’s vehicle. 

The Ford came to final rest facing south in the outside westbound lane of I-10.  

The SUV came to final rest facing south on the north shoulder of the roadway.

The FHP reports that 50-year-old Sandy Ontiveros,  of Selma, Texas, also received minor injuries in the accident.  She was a passenger in SUV.
