A crowd gathered at the Possum Palace in Wausau, Florida on Friday night for an evening of smiles and laughter, and those ‘good times’ will continue today with a full day of events on tap for those stopping by.
The schedule of events for Saturday include the following:
- 6 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast at the Wausau Masonic Lodge
- 9 a.m. – Invocation and welcome at the Possum Palace
- 9:15 a.m. – The Faithful Trio (Gospel Music) at the Possum Palace
- 10 a.m. – 49th Annual Fun Day Parade in downtown Wausau
- 10:15 a.m. – ‘Billy Lipford’ (Country Music) at the Possum Palace
- 11:15 a.m. – Winners of the Corn Pone Baking Contest announced at the Possum Palace
- 11:30 a.m. – Flag Raising & National Anthem at the Possum Palace
- 12 p.m. – Big Possum Auction & Quilt Action at the Possum Palace
- 1 p.m. – ‘Blue Holler’ (Bluegrass Music) at the Possum Palace
- 2 p.m. – Billy Lipford (Country Music) at the Possum Palace
- 2:45 p.m. – ‘The Faithful Trio’ (Gospel Music) at the Possum Palace
- 3:45 p.m. – ‘Blue Holler’ (Bluegrass Music) at the Possum Palace
- 4:30 p.m. – ‘Hog Callin’ at the Possum Palace
Food and Fun will be available all day.
