The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports a Marianna woman is in critical condition following a 3:50 p.m. crash today in Jackson County.

According to the FHP, 48-year-old Wesley Hatcher of Marianna was driving a 2004 GMC flatbed tow truck eastbound on Reddock Road and missed his turn.  The driver stopped in the roadway and started backing west in the roadway.

A 2005 Ford Focus, driven by 19-year-old Montana Noble, also of Marianna, was eastbound on the roadway and after topping a hillcrest was unable to stop in time.  The front of the Ford struck the rear of the tow truck in the roadway.  The vehicles came to rest in the roadway.  Noble was transported to a Dothan medical facility.

FHP officials report that charges are pending in the case.
