The Chipley City Council led off their meeting Tuesday night presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Angel Belcher recognizing her lifetime committment to her community and her willingness to provide meals to residents in Chipley and surrounding area following Hurricane Michael.

Asked about what motivates her to carry out the various projects she undertakes, Angel’s  answer was simple – she is carrying on the mission her mother taught her   …   as well as carrying on her motto – “This too shall pass”.

Angel has also been recognized by Govenor Rick Scott, and on July 4th in Washington D.C., by President Donald Trump, for her community-based work.
