Writers far greater than I have for generations talked endlessly of great personalities and profound relationships. In believing for instance that it was extra ordinarily rare for a man to own a great horse and great dog in his entire lifetime. John had five state champions in his barn at one time. He also owned “Awesome Conclusion” that he bred and showed that produced seven world champions. What are we to say of a great father, son and husband or any human companion? That the world has become a little darker by loosing a little bit of its glimmer.
Dr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, Stewart and Velma Brown and brother, Sherman Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Delena Brown; son, John H. Brown and wife Jennifer; daughter, Dr. Sherry L. Brown; grandchildren: Hannah, John Dillion, Madison, and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Joslyn, Leey, Annabelle, and Emma; brothers: Stewart Brown and wife Nita of Jonesboro, AR, Calvin Brown and wife Peggy; sister, Jessie Manley of Pocahontas, AR; and aunt, Louise Fryman.
