Meeting in a Workshop session Thursday night, the Wausau Town Council received an offer from Paul Goulding of The Goulding Agency to serve as the public relations firm for the Town.

Goulding, who also represents the Town of Vernon said, “The challenge is to disseminate a consistent, positive and aproved message, along with factual information to the public, about the opportunities available in the Town of Wausau”.

He said the firm’s marketing goal will be to increase awareness, through the dissemination of ‘good news’ as well as news releases, about ongoing business, governmental news and news about upcoming special events taking place in Wausau.

Council members said they would address the offer at their September meeting.
