West Melbourne man dies in I-10 crash …………….

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that 70-year-old Michael Lee Wright, of West Melbournce, Florida,  died as the result of injuries sustained in an Aug. 28 crash on I-10 in Washington County.

The 2002 Toyota driven by Wright was at final rest in the inside lane of I-10 facing in a southern direction due to previous crash.  

Eddie Lamar Hicks, 56, of Molino, Florida, was driving a 2007 Peterbuilt Trailer westbound on I-10 n the inside lane.  The front of the trailer collided with the left side of the Toyota.  

After initial impact both the truck and Toyota began to travel in a southersterly direction off the paved portion of the roadway. Both vehicles traveled in the center grass median.

The Toyota came to final rest in the center grass median facing in a northeasterly direction  

The trailer came to final rest in the center grass median facing in a southen direction.
