Family Dollar Distribution Center recently addressed Family Dollar associates and community partners, with an update on the potential impact of Hurricane Dorian on the distribution center in Marianna, Florida.
‘The safety and well being of our associates is our utmost concern’, said the Family Dollar spokesperson, ‘so please be assured that we are actively monitoring the weather and will provide schedule updates as information becomes available’.
According to latest reports from the National Weather Service, Hurricane Dorian is a Category 4 storm and is expected to make landfall on the east coast of Florida early Monday morning, September 2, 2019.
‘The storm’s path may change as it nears landfall’, continues the Family Dollar communication, ‘and we will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates. All scheduled work shifts and times are currently unchanged’.
With the approach of Hurricane Dorian, Family Dollar Distribution Center personnel are preparing, although still not up to full speed following the impact of that storm almost a year ago.
