TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis joined Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida State University (FSU) President John Thrasher today as FSU is recognized for becoming one of the country’s coveted Top 25 public institutions, landing No. 18 in U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Colleges 2020.”
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “Florida is home to a world-class college and university system. The U.S. News and World Report 2020 college rankings are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of so many committed to academic excellence in our state. The University of Florida leads the Sunshine State at number 7, and Florida State University ranks 18 out of all public schools nationwide.
“I was proud to join my alma mater today to celebrate this amazing milestone. Leaders like UF President Kent Fuchs and FSU President John Thrasher will ensure that these institutions continue to build upon these achievements. I’m a firm believer that there is no better place to live, work, or get a college degree than right here in Florida.”
