Addressing fellow members of the Chipley Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, Gulf Power representative Tracy Andrews said the company is continuously looking for new opportunities to provide clean energy to their customers and is developing solar energy centers in various areas of the Panhandle and is currently working on multiple centers in Jackson County.
Andrews said life expectany of each of the sites is 30 years and the initial center is expected to be complete in early 2020.
