The Washington County Board of County Commissioners took action this week to declare September as ‘Childhood Cancer Awareness Month’.
Commissioners also approved the following agenda items:
- Request to vacate Eastern 720 feet of Depot Avenue in Greenhead—Dawn McDonald, Senior Planner APPROVED
- Request variance from setback restrictions for property identified as parcel number 00-4165-0072 located at 4169 Crystal Lake Drive—Dawn McDonald, Senior Planner APPROVED
- Request to Amend Future Land Use (FLU) designation of the property located on Avant Road from Agriculture Low Density Residential to allow for the intended development of four mobile homes—Dawn McDonald, Senior Planner APPROVED
- Proclamation to Designate the Month of September as “Childhood Cancer Awareness Month”—Tyesha Corbitt APPROVED
- Annual Report for Florida Forest Service—Donnie Sellers, Forest Area Supervisor APPROVED
- Washington County Adopt a Roadway for Litter Removal: Brickyard Road by the Chipley High School Student Council—Tray Hawkins, Chairman APPROVED
- FDOT Design Agreement for Brickyard Road and supporting resolution—Karen Shaw, Grant/ Special Projects Coordinator APPROVED
- FDOT Construction Agreement for Cope Road and supporting resolution—Karen Shaw, Grant/ Special Projects Coordinator APPROVED
- FDOT Construction Agreement for Old Bonifay Road and supporting resolution—Karen Shaw, Grant/ Special Projects Coordinator APPROVED
- Request for Chairman to sign closing documents with Rev Financial to purchase 1997 E-One 95-Ft. Aluminum Platform on E-One Hurricane Chassis (Purchase approved 8/22/19) —Rick Kerr, Fire Services Coordinator APPROVED
- Mud Hill Tower Agreement—Tray Hawkins, Chairman APPROVED – WFECA WILL PAY THE POWER BILL AT THE TOWER AS WELL AS PROVIDE A GENERATOR
