Aging In Place- Our Mainstay

Elder Care Services is a strong advocate for aging in place. For the elderly, aging in place is more comfortable and affords a greater connection to familiar social networks. Aging in place allows for greater self-determination and may slow the advancement of memory loss. Often aging in place costs less than assisted living or full-time care and clearly improves ones quality of life.

Community Support For Seniors

On June 25, 2019, Pam Irwin, Executive Director, Capital Medical Society Foundation, Inc., presented a $4,000 Access to Care Grant for senior home services to Mark Baldino, President, Elder Care Services, Inc.

Elder Care Services is so thankful for our community partners. Recently the Capital Medical Society Foundation awarded Elder Care with a grant of $4,000 to be used for senior home services. Without generous donations like this, many of our area’s seniors could not age comfortably in their homes. Thank you, Capital Medical Society Foundation for investing in seniors!

When you call Elder Care Services, you reach a caring, well-informed counselor who is committed to answering questions and responding to requests. Some solutions are as simple as giving a caller the right phone number for a community resource, but other times durable goods like food and walkers are required to assist a senior in crisis. Thanks to our generous donors above, many seniors will be able to receive emergency or short-term help.

“We’re all fed up with the tens of billions of illegal robocalls we get every year,” said Andrew Smith, who directs the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection.
