Chipley Kiwanis Club donates to WC Long Term Recovery Organization ……………….

Before the closure of Tuesday’s meeting of the Chipley Kiwanis Club, Aubrey Sapp had the pleasure of presenting Connie Wells, Washington County Long Term Recovery Organization, with a check in the amount of $1,500 to help with the work of the volunteers.

The Chipley Kiwanis Club inducted officers at their club meeting on Tuesday, with Kiwanis  Lt. Govenor Jonathan King doing the honors.

Inducted were the following officers to serve for 2019-2020:

  •  President – Tracy Andrews
  •  President Elect – Nicole Barefield
  •  Vice President – Aubrey Sapop
  •  Secretary – Laura Joiner
  •  Treasurer – Tommy Sasser
  •  Immediate Past President – LaMerla Feitsma

Perfect Attendance awards for 2018-2019 went to:

  •  Curtis Carter – One Year
  • Aubrey Sapp – Four Years
  •  Tommy Sasser – Eight Years
  •  David Corbin – Ten Years
  •  LaMerle Feitsma – Fourteen Years
  •  Dell Corbin – Sixteen Years
  • Joe Johnson – Nineteen Years
  •  Laura Joiner – Twenty Years
  •  Bruce Christmas – Fifty-four Years

Serving as Directors for 2019-2020 will be:

  •  Three Years – Bruce Christmas and Chastity Drummond
  •  Two Years – David Corbin and Dell Corbin
  •  One Year – Cindy Birge and Debbie Moxley

Also, Dell Corbin was recognized as the ‘Kiwanian of the Year’ as part of the ceremonies.
