Mrs. Reba Helen Guilford Johnson, 91, was born in Ozark, Alabama on  May 6, 1928 to Ronald and Bessie Guilford. She passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. She married Nellis F. Johnson on March 22, 1946, then moved to Canton, OH where she worked in the law offices of Freese and Bishop in Canton. Nellis and Reba moved in 1957 to Panama City. She worked five years at Tyndall, then worked at the Navy Coastal Systems Station where she retired as a management analyst in 1993. She earned an A.A. degree in Computer Science from Gulf Coast Community College. After retirement she met monthly with other retirees known as The Golden Girls. For many years she sang barbershop in Harmony Shores Chorus and Panama at Dawn Quartet. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, and reading mystery novels.

She was a longtime faithful member of Central Baptist Church, the Athlea Ladies Sunday School Class, and church choir. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young child. She is in heaven as promised in the Bible.

Mrs. Johnson is predeceased in death by her parents; her husband Nellis; son, Randy Johnson; and brother, Paul Guilford.

She is survived by one son Wayne Johnson (Irene), two daughters, Janet Johnson and Brenda Johnson; daughter-in-law, Thanom Johnson; grandsons, Paul Johnson (Mecheal), Jeff Johnson (Blessy); granddaughters, Theresa Kirkpatrick (Dave), Rita Ward (Steve);great-grandchildren, Laura Sellers (Austin), Madison Ward, Kayley Johnson, Tyler Campbell, Elisabeth Johnson, Ashton Campbell, Samuel Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Avery Campbell, Kaid Kirkpatrick, great-great-grandchildren; Easton Sellers, Ella Sellers, Bennett Sellers; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Southerland Event Center in Lynn Haven with Dr. Bruce Barton and Rev. John Barton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. She will be missed by her family and friends.
