ORLANDO, Fla. – ORLANDO, Fl. — Aimee Stafford, formerly Senior Vice President of Administration for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, is the new executive director of the League of Women Voters of Florida. She will be based at the League’s state office in Orlando.
“Aimee comes to us with over 20 years of non profit experience and we are thrilled to have her as part of the team,” said Florida League President Patricia Brigham. “As we head into the 2020 election the League will be heavily involved in voter registration and educating voters about the issues and a highly qualified staff is essential.”
Stafford was also the Kentucky Chamber’s director of public relations. She is an experienced fundraiser and grant writer.
Prior to joining the chamber, Stafford worked as an Account Executive at Meridian Communications, Lexington, Ky. She began her career in public relations at the University of Kentucky. Stafford graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism-integrated communications.
