Members of the Washington County Historical Society remind everyone that there is a new exhibit at the museum in downtown Chipley and invite everyone to stop by and view the exhibit.

Historical Society President Dorothy Odom has announced that Lt. Col. Charles Lindy Kirkland, Pilot of Marine 1, has given one of his flight suits and a helmet to the museum and it is now on display.

The Kirkland exhibit joins a variety of other memorabilia now on display at the museum which is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.

The Historical Society is always delighted to receive donations of historical items for exhibit at the museum.
