Key Club is described as ” a student-led, high school organization that is directed toward making the world a better place through service. Those heading up the organization say that in doing so, young people grow as individuals and as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage and developing the heart to serve”.
On Tuesday, Monica Rehberg, who is working to rebuild the Chipley Kiwanis Club’s Key Club at Chipley High School stopped by their weekly club meeting to update club members on how things are going.
Rehberg announced that ten students have already expressed interest in re-generating the club, with even more looking into their options.
Rehberg says that Key Club is a great opportunity for students to take their passion for serving others and make it available to others.
