An awareness and fundraising event slated to rally tens of thousands of abolitionists, taking millions of steps in hundreds of cities all over the world on Saturday, October 19, 2019, ‘Walk For Freedom’ is a global response to human trafficking and an outward expression of desire to see slavery abolished once and forever.
Chipley, Florida will participate in ‘Walk For Freedom’, with a march starting on the campus of Florida Panhandle Technical College at 9AM, and organizers expect the turnout to be nothing short of huge.
In the past five years, millions of participants have participated in over 1,400 walks in over 50 countries, all with the expressed intent to show the world that every human life is valued, and there is a desire to see a world where justice, human dignity, and freedom prevail.
Millions of people are enslaved today, according to organizers, and ‘Walk For Freedom’ intends to continue this awareness campaign and keep walking for these victims around the globe until every single human being is free.
