The Vernon City Council, in a regular meeting on Monday, October 21, 2019, extended the rescission of the ban on travel trailers in the city limits for one additional year.
The Council voted on October 19, 2018, to rescind the ban for one year, following the housing shortage and hardships caused by Hurricane Michael, agreeing that the issue would be voted upon annually as needed.Â
