In a short meeting last week the Chipley Redevelopment Agency  (CRA) voted in favor of hiring Carol A. Leone to serve as attorney for the agency.  The issue will now go before the Chipley City Council for an authorizing vote.

Ms. Leone opened her law firm, Carol A. Leone, P.L.L.C., in the Pensacola area in July 2015, focusing on representing and advising redevelopment agencies.  Ms. Leone has concentrated her legal practice on land use law, including representing redevelopment agencies, cities and public agencies.

When in California, Ms. Leone said she  served as Deputy City Attorney for the Redevelopment Unit of the City of San Diego and facilitate a number of redevelopment projects in San Diego.

Ms. Leone is a member of the Florida and California Bar and a member of the Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) and the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association.
