The City of Vernon, Florida announced at their regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 18, 2019 that they would hold their annual Christmas Bazaar on the last Saturday in November, which is November 30, 2019.
The event, organized by Mayor Laura Brewer, recently feted by the City for her charitable contributions to local causes with the dedication of the Vernon Recreation Center in her name, will span from 9AM until 1PM and include vendors and food in a pre-holiday shopping event and a kick-start to the shopping season.
Mayor Brewer also announced that the annual Vernon Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 1PM, and will include a visit from, and free photos with, Santa Claus.
