Tasers and other high-voltage stun devices can cause cardiac arrhythmia in susceptible subjects, leading to heart attack or death in minutes by ventricular fibrillation, which leads to cardiac arrest.
For this reason, all law enforcement and corrections personnel must go through Florida Department of Law Enforcement-approved taser training, which includes exposure to the Taser non-lethal weapon.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 the Florida Panhandle Technical College Digital Video Technology Program visited the FPTC Law Enforcement Program to document Taser Training in photos and video clips, led Major Raley from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, as seen in these FPTC student photos.
