SB 1634 (the “Parental Rights Bill”, companion bill to HB 1059) is on the Senate Judiciary Committee agenda for Tuesday February 4th. We need you to send a message to committee members to let them know you want them to support this bill!
FLCA strongly supports SB 1634 because it gives Parents stipulated Rights over their children. Additionally, this Bill strongly enhances the definition of “Instructional Materials” which is desperately needed to protect our children.

This Bill promotes greater parental involvement by providing parental rights relating to a minor child regarding:
Education (including sex education and School Choice options);
Upbringing; and Healthcare (including immunizations).
The State of Florida is strictly prohibited from infringing on those Rights.
