The Washington County Planning Commission approved a Variance Request and a Minor Development Review for the City of Chipley’s Intermediate Pump Station on State Park Road at their Feb. 3rd meeting.
Following a series of public hearings the commission members also approved all of the following:
- Future Land Use Amendment for a 4.89 acre parcel of property on Clayton Road belonging to Lee and Stefanie Bell. Agriculture/Silviculture to Low Density Residential.
- Land Use Amendment of a one acre parcel of property on Evans Road belonging to Kelly and William St. Onge. Agriculture to Low Density Residential
- Land Use Amendment for a 1.75 acre parcel of property on Highview Lane and Akers Trail belonging Michael Lamb. Agriculture to Low Density Residential.
- Land Use Amendment for a 5 acre parcel of property on Highway 77 belonging to GS Berry Properties. Agriculture to General Commercial.
- A Special Exception Request for a RV Park for a 9 acre parcel of property on Highway 77 belonging to Christy and Ronnie Ray Jones, Jr. Forty spaces are proposed.
- A Special Exception Request for a Telecommunications Tower for .6 acre parcel of property located on George Skipper Road belonging to Jon and Carol Gould.
