Released by the Florida Panhandle Technical College …
On Feb. 26 students from Florida Panhandle Technical College competed in the Region I Skills USA competition at Pensacola State College for the opportunity to advance to the state competition held April 19-21 and did great.
Skills USA provides both secondary and post-secondary students the opportunity to compete in skills contests and compare their abilities against those of their counterparts from other high school Career and Technical classes, Technical Colleges and State Colleges from the panhandle of Florida.
Students from FPTC competed in Cabinetmaking, Job Interview, Job Skills Demonstration, Medical Math and Technical Drafting participated.
