The Washington County Farm Bureau held their annual Spaghetti Supper in conjunction with the Washington County Youth Fair on Friday, February 28 and Saturday February 29, 2020 at the Washington County Ag Center in Chipley, Florida, and longtime supporter Corey Odom helped to serve dinner on Friday evening, with the event enjoying a large attendance.
On Saturday night the 4H Steer Auction highlighted the competition for bragging rights as students demonstrated their animal husbandry skills, and Corey Odom purchased the Reserve Grand Champion from student Max Martin.
Odom also purchased a Blue Ribbon-winning hog from Cy Pettis to complete a full evening’s entertainment.
Odom and her husband Mark have attended and supported this event for over a decade, donating to the organization and purchasing various prize-winning livestock over the past several years.
‘Our future farmers and local agriculture industry are more important than ever for county prosperity’, said Corey Odom to the crowd on Saturday evening, ‘and for that reason we remain long time supporters of FFA, 4H and all the other related educational programs right here in Washington County, Florida’.
