Beating out a strong field of eminently qualified competitors, Florida Panhandle Technical College’s Joli Hartzog was honored by the Washington County, Florida School District and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce as ‘Teacher of the Year’ at the regular monthly School District board meeting on Monday, March 9, 2020 in Chipley.
Vernon Middle School’s Carol Boswell was honored as ‘Rookie Teacher of the Year’ at the event and WAVE (Washington Academy of Varying Exceptionalities) Instructor Senteria Steele captured the ‘School Related Employee of the Year’ award.
