Claris Haley, age 85 of Wausau, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2020 at her residence.

Claris was born on February 9, 1935 in Walker County, Alabama to Earl Douglas Chambers and Zonie Bell Alexander. She was a resident of Washington County for over 30 years and was a member of Wausau Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Allen Victor Haley; son: Johnny Wayne Williams; parents: Earl and Zonie Chambers.

She is survived by her sons: Terry Williams and wife LeAnne of Wausau, FL, Danny Williams and wife Sue of Dothan, AL, Gary Williams of Brooksville FL, Greg Williams and wife Cindy of Cottondale, FL; daughters: Shirley “Jeannie” Braman and husband Kenny of Wausau, FL, Linda Case of Wausau, FL, Sue Rich of Tennessee, Kathy Spain of Wausau, FL; brother: Harold Chambers of Graceville, FL; sisters: Joyce Skinner of Alabama, Clarisie Morris of Alabama; numerous grand, great, and great-great grandchildren.

 

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wausau, Florida with Bro. James Barwick officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Obert Funeral Home: 1556 Brickyard Road, Chipley, Florida 32428.
