Released by Chris Hyatt …
WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL – Christopher A. Hyatt, long-time Veteran Services Officer for the Washington County Board of County Commissioners, has entered the 2020 race for the Supervisor of Elections seat.
Hyatt, a retired Veteran himself, is running on the Republican ticket.
The native Floridian joined the U.S. Navy in 1989 and retired in 2009 as a Chief Petty Officer. Described as an invaluable asset by his Navy Commanders, Hyatt managed a $60 million budget and supervised 300 staff members.
“With my experience, I feel that I can do so much more for Washington County,” Hyatt says. “I’ve been involved in public service my entire adult life, and I strongly feel that this is the next step in my service to the residents of Washington County. I humbly ask that you remember my name when you visit the polls.”
