‘With the viral health issues diminishing opportunities to meet face-to-face, we want to take the opportunity to let the residents of Washington County, Florida know that although we are continuing to campaign, our focus is on making sure that people are safe, healthy and keeping a positive attitude’, said Corey Odom, candidate for Washington County, Florida Supervisor of Elections on Monday, March 23, 2020 in Chipley.
‘We will get through this, just as we have all other challenges, because we are strong, resilient and hard-working’, said Odom in the conversation with local media, ‘and we want to take every opportunity to tell people that health and safety comes first’.
Odom, who offered the donation of an industrial sewing machine to the Washington County effort to produce medical masks over the past weekend, has worked, managed large staff and more importantly, has managed large budgets in the health care industry, and understands the high cost of this type of emergency.
‘This too shall pass’, said Odom, ‘but of utmost importance is paying attention to the direction given by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and other state and federal agencies’.
‘I look forward to serving the people of this community, and continuing to work hard alongside the residents of Washington County, as your next Supervisor of Elections’, finished Odom.
