Tray Hawkins and Washington County, Florida Board of Commissioners Announce ‘Paycheck Protection Plan’

Following a ‘Florida League of Cities’ conference call with Florida Senator Marco Rubio on Friday afternoon, March 27, 2020, Tray Hawkins, Chairman of the Washington County, Florida Board of County Commissioners announced the ‘Paycheck Protection Plan’ soon to go into effect, as explained in the video clip below.

Hawkins announced that the County staff will be formulating a package which will soon be available for small businesses to apply and take advantage of this relief opportunity.

‘We will be working into tonight and this weekend to put together the package and we will release information as soon as it becomes available’, says Hawkins.

‘Above all, we ask that you be patient’, said Hawkins, ‘we want to be both timely and accurate in our information, so please bear with us’.
