On Monday, July 6, 2020, the City Council for Vernon, Florida met at the Vernon Community Center, maintaining social distancing, to conduct their regular monthly workshop meeting.
The Vernon Recreation Department was addressed concerning maintenance at the City park facilities and announcements were made concerning upcoming Football and Cheerleading registration.
Council members discussed the ongoing issues with backflow meters and other issues.
The regular schedule of Vernon city council meetings has been resumed, with a Workshop on the first Monday, and a formal Meeting on the third Monday of each month, respectively.
