William Eugene ‘Bunk’ Corbin, Jr., age 66 of Cottondale, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2020 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
Bunk was born on June 9, 1954 in Marianna, Florida, to William E. Corbin, Sr. and Addlean Hutchins Corbin. Bunk was a Chipley High School graduate in the class of 1972. He worked as a Lab Technician and was a Master Mason in the Cottondale Lodge No. 206. Bunk was also a member and dedicated musician at Rock Hill Church.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Carolyn Corbin one-week prior.
He is survived by his parents: William Eugene Sr. and Addlean Corbin of Cottondale, FL; daughter: Jennifer Taylor (Jason) of Vernon, FL; brothers: David Earl Corbin (Becky) of Alford FL, Tim Corbin (Lisa) of Cottondale, FL; step-children: Kevin Harrison of Sneads, FL, Dough Harrison of Sneads, FL, Toby Casey of Helena, MT, Tracy Long of Tallahassee, FL, Beverly Casey of Helena, MT, Kimberly Harrison of Cairo, GA; grandchildren: Chloe Taylor, Clayton Taylor, step-grandchildren: Kalob Harrison, Alexa Harrison, Shyann Harrison, Kara Lowman, John Marcus Lowman, Brooke Harrison, Brittany Harrison, Cassie Dirks, Lucas Holloway; a host of great-grandchildren.
A double graveside service will be held for Bunk and Carolyn Corbin at 10 AM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Rock Hill Church Cemetery in Chipley, Florida with Rev. Gary Barnes officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
