Chipley, Florida Business Leaders Furnish Complimentary ‘Lunches For Leos’ on Monday, November 2, 2020

They say that there is no such thing as a ‘free lunch’, but Law Enforcement Officers at the Chipley, Florida Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office got a surprise visit from several local business leaders on Monday, November 2, 2020, with just that- a free lunch.

Andy Powell, owner of ‘Legendary Lawn Maintenance’, and David Corbin, owner of ‘Chipley Gun and Pawn’, both of Chipley, Florida, along with ‘Roberts and Roberts, Inc.’ of Panama City, Florida, decided to do something special for local ‘LEO’s’, or law enforcement personnel, and contracted with Gina Pippin, owner of  ‘Sister’s Sweets’ in Chipley to provide box lunches to all officers in Washington County, Florida on Monday, and the response was as huge as the appetites, and not much was left when the food was distributed to the officers.

‘We are just happy that we can do something a little special for our local ‘LEO’s’ said Andy Powell.  ‘This is a very small gesture of our thanks and appreciation for our men and women in law enforcement’, echoed David Corbin, and there were a lot of smiles all around.
