Visitors and residents of historic DeFuniak Springs, Florida will witness the grandest Christmas light display the city has ever hosted.
More than 10 million LED lights will be illuminated each evening from November 27 through December 31 in Chipley Park and reflecting off beautiful Lake DeFuniak.
The display is expected to attract thousands more tourists to the region for the annual event called Christmas Reflections.
“Not only have we added 4 million more lights to our existing annual holiday display of 6 million” says City Manager Mell Smigielski, “but we are collaborating with Main Street DeFuniak Springs to expand holiday activities during Christmas Reflections to include outdoor markets, photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and many other movie characters.
We also have a full lineup of free outdoor movies at our amphitheater on Fridays and Saturdays, and Main Street DeFuniak Springs is sponsoring and hosting events along Baldwin Avenue adjacent to the Christmas Reflections Light Show location to enhance the holiday season in our historic community.”
Entrance to the Christmas Reflections Light Show remains at the DeFuniak Springs Library address of 3 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs and opens nightly from 5pm until 9pm. Tickets are $3/person. Children 6 and under are free. Season passes available at the gate for $35.
