Sheriff Kevin Crews and the Washington County, Florida Sheriff’s Office have partnered with the Florida Department of Transportation to enhance the safety of our highway safety and construction workers.
Highways 77 and 79 in Washington County are currently under construction. All of the men & women that are working hard, daily, to improve our highways are mothers, fathers, truck drivers, heavy equipment operators and hard working citizens.
In an effort to keep these hard workers safe, expect to see increased patrols and enforcement in or near the Highway 77 and 79 construction zones.
Sheriff Kevin Crews is asking the community of Washington County and surrounding areas to heed a voluntary compliance to the local and State laws, in our construction zones.
