Participants and attendees at this year’s Downtown Chipley, Florida Christmas Fest were strongly encouraged to wear masks and gloves, and all precautions were taken to avoid interpersonal contact and maintain social distancing as a large crowd attended what was arguably one of the largest parades this year in Downtown Chipley.
The parade started at the Philip Rountree Stadium parking lot and made a circle in downtown Chipley, spreading good cheer but no candy this year due to health regulations.
Unseasonably warm weather helped bring out the crowds following an afternoon of torrential downpour to make the 2020 Chipley Christmas Fest festive indeed, as seen in these photos by Debbie Goulding for Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
