Washington County, Florida School District Board Meets on December 14, 2020

1. Mr. Brian Solger, Ag Teacher, recognized CHS student Jay Register who won the Peanut Festival $5,000 Scholarship for the Catch a Heifer program.

 

2. Vernon High School Principal Brian Riviere and Athletic Director Gerald Tranquille recognized VHS outstanding Football Team for making it to the Regional finals this year.  Mr. Tranquille commended them for being great students academically as well as athletic.

 

3. Ms. Beth Arnold, Director of Assessment and Accountabilities, recognized the District Guidance Counselors who she calls “Silent Heroes” for the jobs they have been asked to do since August.  She said they work with grace and compassion all the time and their flexibility and strength is appreciated.

4. Superintendent Joseph Taylor recognized Ms. Jiranda White, the new Director of Federal Programs for the District.
