Jose Antonio Alcala Gaytan, 70 of Marianna Passes on December 13, 2020 at Jackson Hospital

Jose Antonio Alcala Gaytan, 70, of Marianna died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Jackson Hospital.

A native of Ramos Arizpe Coahuila, Mexico. Mr. Alcala had resided in Jackson County for the past 8 years where he moved after he retired.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Faustino and his parents; Magdaleno and Maria del Pilar Gaytan.

Survivors include his wife, Maria (Cuca) Alcala of Marianna; two daughters, Dacia of Marianna, FL and Brenda of Colorado; two sons, Cesar of New Mexico, and Hiram of California; four sisters, Maria, Maria Elena, Dolores and Guadalupe; two brothers, Rodolfo, and Eduardo Alcala; six granddaughters, Karen, Jennifer, Arlene, and Fernanda Alcala, Melissa, Kayra Muñoz; two grandsons, Jose Carlos and Alex Rodriguez; and one great-granddaughter, Emily Teran Alcala.

Memorial service will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at Rivertown Community Church (RCC) with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
