The Grinch is known for stealing Christmas, but in 2020 the roles have reversed as someone has stolen the Grinch.
The Grinch cutout in downtown Enterprise was stolen sometime Thursday night and Friday morning from the Whoville arch next to the old Yancey Parker building.
Main Street Enterprise asks whoever took the Grinch to return him ahead of the last Whoville celebration and scavenger hunt on Saturday.
“The Grinch cutout that is part of our Whoville display has been taken,” said Main Street Enterprise Chairman Chad Wester. “We are encouraging anyone to bring the Grinch back. Your heart will grow three sizes if you return it, I promise. The Grinch did steal Christmas, but he did return it.”
Main Street Enterprise says they will not ask any questions if he is returned.
