Local Chipley, Florida teacher Alex Webb shared his story of being impacted by the COVID virus in a Facebook posting on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and here is his story.

‘Just want to let everyone know that this Corona Virus is terrible. I woke up Christmas morning with a severe headache that wouldn’t go away. Developed body aches and fever as well. Persevered until Monday when Stacy L. Webb and Madilynne Webb woke up with a fever and headache’.

‘At that point we decided enough is enough and got tested. All of us tested positive for Corona Virus’.

‘Today wraps up day six for me (4 for them) of fever, chills, headache, body ache and diarrhea. Stacy and Madilynne seem to be feeling lots better, but I just can’t shake it although I am feeling a little better’.

‘I have wrapped my head around how we may have picked this up but that really doesn’t matter. So, please check with family members to make sure they are okay’.

‘Whether you wear a mask or not, or choose to get vaccinated or not, is your choice. Just make the best choice for you and don’t be critical of those that choose differently’.

‘Hopefully a few more days and we should be doing okay, but we are not letting our guard down’!
